A poetic series that confronts the miseries of routinary life and common sense filtered by the creative imagination and the sense of humor of the surrealist. Each of the eleven montages/collages are unique handmade artworks with an assemblage of watercolors, ink drawings and found objects including antique postage and comics from the 60’s together with personal notes from the artist. The collection is the base for Raimundo Figueroa’s pursuit of painting as a spiritual discipline and celebration of living and enjoying daily life.
