The exhibition examines the dual nature of the human experience.

Existence and exit are two concepts that are deeply intertwined in human life. Both are related to the way we interact with the world around us and the way we perceive and engage with the space we inhabit. While the exit is sometimes seen as a negative or destructive force, the existence is often celebrated as a fundamental aspect of our humanity. In this exhibition we explore the dual nature of human experience as it is shaped by these two opposing forces.

Existence is the very foundation of human experience. It is what allows us to engage with the world around us and perceive ourselves and others as concrete entities in the physical universe. From the moment we are born, we are placed in a complex and dynamic environment of people, places and things. Our senses open to embrace the visual, auditory, and tactile world around us, and we begin to form the cognitive and emotional frameworks that guide our understanding of reality.

However, existence is more than just a passive engagement with stimuli. It also involves an active process of making meaning out of our experiences, we develop worldviews, belief systems and moral codes that help us make sense of the world we inhabit. Through our experiences, we understand our place in the world and form the relationships that define our lives. In many ways, existence is what gives purpose and meaning to our lives.

The exit, on the other hand, is a force that destabilizes our existence. It is often associated with chaos, unpredictability and loss. When we step out, we leave the comfort and stability of our familiar world and venture into the unknown. This can be a frightening and uncertain experience as it forces us to confront the limits of our understanding and control.

However, the outlet can also be a transformative and empowering force. When we step out of a situation, we assert our agency and take control of our lives. We exercise our right to choose, change and grow. Exit can be a powerful tool for personal and societal transformation as it allows us to challenge the status quo and chart a new path forward.

Despite their opposing forces, existence and exit are essential elements of the human experience. They reflect our basic drive to grow and develop and our need to engage with the world on our own terms. Without existence, we would have no context for our lives, and without an outlet, we would have no agency to shape the world around us.

In conclusion, the dual nature of human experience is shaped by the complex interplay between existence and outcome. Both forces are essential to our growth and development as individuals and as societies. Through our engagement with the world around us, we create meaning and establish our place in the world. And through our breaking out of established patterns and systems, we assert our freedom of choice and create new possibilities for ourselves and others. In this sense, existence and exit are not opposing forces, but two sides of the same coin that reflect the constant evolution and adaptation of the human experience.

The large-scale contemporary visual art festival "BUNA" will be held between May 24 and 28 in Varna, in the Talyana district. In addition to events there, artistic content will also be located in the City Gallery "Borsi Georgiev" (Varna), ReBonkers and the glass cube of Radio Varna.

Over 30 organizations, galleries and artistic collectives will participate in the event, which has become a representative festival of the contemporary visual scene.

The invited organizations, in turn, have prepared their own content for the events within the festival, including more than 100 contemporary artists from Bulgaria and the world. Over 62 events will take place within 5 days, located mainly in the creative district of Varna - Talyana. This is the oldest historical part of the center, full of architectural monuments, cobbled streets and a cozy urban atmosphere.

Highlights of BUNA are a performance in a mineral pool on the beach, a massive urban intervention covering an entire building, over 15 exhibitions, over 20 talks and discussions. BUNA's message is related to the growth of the modern visual scene and the need to recognize the sector as a significant part of the country's cultural life.
